Whether you're parsing your familys involvement in the war as doing something, but nothing wrong™, and also a rape...or avoiding the subject and offering up a rape that you also believe wasn't wrong or didn't happen, denialism tracks. Deniers always always always have some bullshit explanation for why they believe what they do...but it's nonsense. In truth, their denialism is based on feelings of grievance.
