I find sorcerer to be the better magic class of the game. Which subclass did you choose?

Draconic. I tend to agree, at least with my limited experience.

Furthermore, if you want to maximize the damage your team can do, combine rogue and support/heals into the lore bard instead of having two separate characters for those jobs. Apparently, a cleric-healer is not necessary in the game and healing word is all that's needed for when a companion falls
