I have read things about how the eclipse might affect pets and other animals. Some dogs may freak out like they do in a storm and birds might think they should be going to sleep. In the Dallas area the full eclipse is supposed to last less than four minutes. For some reason I think the dogs and the parrots can hang in there for four minutes. I suppose we will see.
They do act weird - we witnessed birds roosting, dogs barking and such. Yeah, they hang in there.
