Maybe it has to do with the fact that I can seriously only name two of his songs.
He was certainly an original character. I was never really into him either but he did do the soundtrack to the original Batman film with Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton, which I thought was pretty good, the most memorable songs from that being Partyman (when the Joker is defacing the art gallery) and Trust (where he gasses the populace from the big parade balloons).
As for me, apart from that Boyzone concert I was dragged to, the only proper concert I've been to was Bon Jovi, sometime around 2000 I think, which was pretty cool.
