The outskirts of tropical storm Alberto have landed. It's been raining for the last four or five hours, medium and steady, no big winds but probably 2" of rainfall. We're looking at another 4-6" between today and Friday, so they say. It's the right kind of rain we need, moderate and steady. Local low-water crossings are all good so far and I don't think the ones I must use will be threatened.
If it stays like this the next two days, I'm cool. We need the water and it isn't crazy.
