Quote:Elon Musk is being accused of violating the policies on his own social platform, X, after he shared a fake video of Vice President Harris that uses an artificial intelligence (AI) voice mimicking Harris to spew insults about her campaign and President Biden.
The video musk shared Friday mocks a Harris campaign ad and features voiceover calling Biden “senile” and Harris the “ultimate diversity hire.”
The video does not contain any disclaimer that it uses AI to mimic Harris’s voice, though the original post from the account @MrReaganUSA labels it a parody. Musk made no such distinction in his own post, a move that appears to violate X site policy barring “misleading media.”

But wait! It's even more fun being a dishonest hypocritical cunt:
Quote:Tech billionaire Elon Musk slammed Vice President Harris as an “extinctionist” in response to a resurfaced video of the vice president discussing the “climate anxiety” young people have felt when thinking about their futures.
“Shamala is an extinctionist. The natural extension of her philosophy would be a de facto holocaust for all of humanity!” Musk wrote Saturday on on the social platform X, which he owns.
Musk was responding to a video from September 2023, shared by former President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) — his running mate — during which Harris argued the large young voter turnout in 2020 was in part due to their concerns about climate change.
“Because young people said, ‘We’re not leaving it to other people to decide how we’re dealing with the climate crisis’ — you know, I’ve heard young leaders talk with me about a term they’ve coined called ‘climate anxiety,'” Harris said at Reading (Pa.) Area Community College, as part of her “Fight for Our Freedoms” college tour.
“Which is fear of — of the future and the unknown of whether it makes sense for you to even think about having children, whether it makes sense for you to think about aspiring to buy a home … because what will this climate be?” she continued.

I believe that, at the bare minimum, you should treat the prospect of bringing a new life into the world with the same sort of moral gravity that you would treat potentially taking one out of it. And this sort of reckless horseshit is why. I know we haven’t exactly reached the point of no return yet, but given the drastic level of CO2 emissions that would be required to not do so, plus the fact that the response of many in a position to do so is “Wha’Eva! I’ll do what I want!” (Indeed, the parts of Project 2025 that deal with such things explicitly say that they intend to ramp up use of fossil fuels and curb any attempt at mitigating the impact), it’s only a matter of time before that happens.
A few weeks ago, the world broke its record for the hottest average temperature TWO DAYS IN A ROW. Two months ago, Delhi, the second-largest city on the planet, had record-breaking heat waves, with wet-bulb temperatures at points reaching as high as 100 Fahrenheit. With a sustained wet-bulb temperature of only 95 Fahrenheit, death is pretty much inevitable. And even below that, shit can get extremely dangerous.
Remember the scenes from Dune where they explain how the still-suits work and allow people to survive on the planet of Arrakis?
We now have places where even if we had the technology for still-suits, they’d still be powerless to prevent your death. And those places are only going to get more and more commonplace as global temperatures soar.
I can’t be the only person who thinks that bringing children into a world where ARRAKIS seems like a more hospitable planet is madness.
