I'm against ascribing moral values to things like dietary preferences or not driving car. Otherwise thousands of people end to be "morally virtuous" and yet millions still starve in this ocean of goodness.
If someone make a choice for moral reasons, it is a moral choice. This seems so obvious that I actually feel it shouldn't need to be pointed out.
Who the hell are you to tell someone else whether their choices are based on moral values or not?
