Actually Kichigaineko there are no accusations of ignorance, I’m simply stating facts. Now if one would like to ban me for such so be it. I came here being as it’s an atheist forum I thought there would be some authentic views, instead I seemed to have stumbled across some of the biggest egos online.
Kichigaineko, you seem to have an ego larger than life, I notice you have a five star rating and 3529 posts to your namesake naturally this has gone to your small mind. And it is a small mind since you are easily offended. Whether or not as the case maybe you are enlightened again makes no difference to me. They’re so many connotations attached to enlightenment these days it makes you wonder whether it is worth becoming enlightened at all, one might be better off transcending the whole shebang and going beyond. And who cares what people believe in? Certainly not me, I simply enjoy stating facts.
And like I said before if this offends then you have a problem. Don’t be a coward by projecting your nonsense on visitors of the forum simply because they take an individual stance. Just because you are nice and comfortable in your intellectual zone of normalcy it doesn’t mean everyone else will be.
And what’s with the Wiki paste? Such a typical move for such an egoist, but still, it comes as no surprise. In order for the mind to defend itself it has to borrow knowledge. What are you trying to prove? I have no interest in intellectual philosophizing. Philosophers only think about the truth they never know it. Simply because they go round in circles mulling over the same rubbish and Its the same with theology, you will find yourself discussing the same crap that has been pedaled for centuries such as how many angels can dance on a pin head, hardly edifying, and what stupidity but this is philosophizing for you. And you are free to go down this path everybody eventually does it is part of the learning curve, sadly though some people never seem to find their way out of it.
An you talk about my infantile learning, at least I have the courage to step out of the box, and present something substantial as an individual which is more than can be said for your crowd mentality (rowing the atheist/theist boat).
And yes Aleialoura I am bat shit crazy and this is the paradox, to be seen as sane in this world you have to be bat shit crazy. Of course you can be sociable and fall in with the mob and categorize yourself into little pigeonhole cultures, but then you will only be seen as a social Muppet
But seriously Kichigaineko maybe if you dropped your personality since it is only a social phenomenon and is always in reference to the other. You might then be able to move into individuality.
You are too tied up in language, move beyond it and if you can you will find that understanding the ego becomes its necessary corollary.
Until then you will always be fooling yourself about enlightenment since you will not fool anybody else apart from other like minded so called enlightened ones.
Honestly, you gave me such giggles when you proclaimed your enlightenment. By whose authority? Please, any good Zen master would have kicked seven bells out of you for being big shit arrogant. And if you are enlightened what the hell are you doing on a forum discussing irrelevant nonsense? Again seven bells for you.
The strength of your ego would take several masters a number of years to purge an even then it may be a lost cause, since you are already enlightened.

Whateverist, you concern yourself too much with the past. I have no concerns with the past since it has no place in the here and now. And I don’t expect any one to set aside their understanding, it’s simply the way I tick. If people talk rubbish then I will respond accordingly. On a deeper level people are pretty much the same, they may hold different views and have different perspectives but their psychology at the subconscious level remains the same. It is just like your center and mine and everybody else’s it is the same. If you drop a pebble in water all concentric circles share that same center, all people emanate from the same center, it is only through mind that differentiation become apparent. And I don’t claim enlightenment, just a knowing. be an individual, then you will not find me so condescending and presumptuous.

I wonder how well it would have worked for you, before you left your mind behind, to have people telling you what you are spewing here? Wouldn't you have considered anyone who comes off the way you do to be condescending and presumptuous? Do you really expect people to set aside their own understanding, feeble though it may seem to you, and embrace your own on your say so? Your concept of "other people" is pretty limited.
