Reads as if you are an Arab, i thought you were a pure Turk?
None of them could destroy Israel, such a comical thought.
By we, I meant us, I prompt you to read my post:
Quote:We too, were on the brink of having similar states within our lands in the aftermath of WWI, and those were created via a peace treaty.I was talking about the creation of the state of Turkey and our war for independence.
We tore it down, and tore down those newly created (puppet)states, and created our own state. Anything else would really be not acceptable on our accord.
Like, I can't envision Turkey with Greece posessing portions of lands on the agean coast, with the very city of Izmir I lived in for 8 years, being a part of Greece, or the city of Istanbul I was born in would belong to an "international mandate".
And well, I already laid down my reasons why I think that a united arab force could blow Israel to soap above. Either you agree or disagree. If you do not agree, you tell me your reasons.
Quote:Sunni and Shia have been killing each other for 1300 years because of some pointless argument over who got to be caliph. What?
I don't think they are suddenly going to stop.
Why do you think I care about that? I am not talking about a pan-islamic alliance or something. I'm talking about an alliance based on a common arab identity.
Besides, by "we" I don't mean the arabs. I think my poor choice of words or the lack thereof has led to some misunderstandings.
By we, I'm talking about the Turks, and our war of independence, when I said "we did so once". The arabs never had such a war. They only joined up with the british army forces that were battling the Ottomans in arabia.
Hell, their leader wasn't even arab, he was a brit.
Quote:Is the Caliphate fully restored in Turkey yet, KM?Is that a trick question?
Also, I'm just discussing the hypothetical outcome of an arab unification.
Not if they'll ever be united. In either case, I have my own pan-turkist goals in mind to give much thought about how such a unification could occur.
I have no idea why people think that the jews are so damn powerful or something. Yeah, they have ther lobbying power in the USA...And the Rothschildes, and yes? Anywhere in the world, they're laughed at. I'm beginning to think that Israel is being harsh on the arabs to prove that they are badass or something, but frankly they're not, it's just that they're as powerful as others want them to be.
