Increasingly often, the new atheists, in their conferences, and on their blogs make an appeal to history.
Unfortunately it is not the history that we all know, but a new "atheist history" full of martyrs such as Giordano Bruno or Hypatia of Alexandria, who had supposedly died for their scientific opinions.
A history of a permanent opposition of religion, to any scientific progress, a history where for example in Europe any form of anatomical research was banned, while in "Islam" dissection and autopsies were supposedly "widely practiced". A history where a terrified Pope is said to have excommunicated a comet for being an "instrument of the devil". A history where Christianity brought a "Dark Age" of 1000 years that only knowledge brought "from Islam" was able to shatte..
It is becoming increasingly obvious that we are dealing with a conflict
A conflict between atheism and history
.
PS.
I wonder why atheists think of this problem
Are they aware that it exists?
I want to live for immortality, and I will accept no compromise!
