is not a statement of a "pro-slavery" ideology, and the fact that Christianity would initially spread like wildfire amongst the slaves of the empire - to go on to abolish slavery within the Roman Empire

It is pro-slavery especially since Christianity kept slavery for the next 2000 years. And if you look at the Bible, it never at any point condemns slavery but embraces it and tells people to have slaves, how to treat them, how to rape them,and etc.

"Some Christians held slaves despite 2000 years of condemnation from the church, therefor Christianity was pro-slavery."

"Some atheists, in the *explicit name of atheism,* went on 5-year plans of mass genocide against religious individuals; therefor all atheists support mass genocide."

Thank god neither Christians nor atheists are as monolithic as you are pretending.
