Indeed, and they melt down about it because they know they are. They want to be nazis, but they don't want to be seen as nazis, because our society has very effectively stigmatized this. An impossible dilemma. Consider our friends retort. It wasn't any dispute over the facts, instead, he pleaded with us to let the numbers change the facts. A win would validate them, and automagically make them not the very bad thing™ they very much are and wish they weren't. Poor things just can't quit him.
