I mean he literally said he doesn't care if you find stats or evidence that contradicts/proves him wrong him, it won't change his opinion.

Why anyone would continue to converse with him is beyond me.

You're right of course, I just think racist posts ought to be challenged, and the poster called on it, but any reasonable discourse is impossible, since he has made it clear he will simply wave facts and evidence away, in favour of his racist rhetoric. 

The crime rate in the UK isn't rising, in fact it's been in a steady decline for 30 years. There are many reason for, and causes of crime, but skin colour isn't one of them.

Frankly, if his reply to me asking why I'd want to look for any other reason besides race is any indication, he just started with a preferred hypothesis and followed it straight into the abyss. I doubt I'd ever actually change his mind, but as long as other people see the rebuttal, well, that's more people who know the reality. And the jackass we're arguing with loses the right to say we're not actually disputing his point without looking delusional.
