I hgaven't downloaded "illegal" for a while. Don't need to since my brother does it, moview, music, games even and so on.
We are both supporting the Pirate party here in sweden, which pretty much are the only party that talks about integrity and the rights that people have. I also don't see downloading as a crime. People say that it is stealing. THat downlloading, or in other words filesharing=stealing. it perhaps is indirectly. But if it would be as stealing, then people had hack in to a site and then download. Then it would more resemble to steal. As it is now is it the same thing as when someone give his neighbours free sugar.
Downloading also gives musicians, game devolopers and so on a huge oppertunity. What I mean by this is that a rescent study shows that those who fileshare are also those who buy most music CD's for an example. This becuase people want to support a certain musician, when they have downloaded his/her's music and like it.
It's the same with myself. If I donwload a game for free, and I like it, then I buy it. This because I want to support the game developers.
