I have yet to hear these explanations. Take the existence of the universe that caused stars, planets, solar system, galaxies, and a planet like earth and to cause intelligent life to exist. I think it occurred because right from the start it was headed in the direction of a planet like earth existing. We know now that is far from a sure fire given.

Theists prey on people's doubts to get them to believe. Atheists point out such doubts as the reason why a lack of belief should be the default.
You think this is a zero sum game, its not. They're ramifications to atheism. If the theistic belief is, it was intentionally caused by design if false, then it was unintentionally caused by accident. Why should we not question that narrative? Does something that was caused unintentionally come with the laws of physics and properties of time and space that cause intelligent beings to exist? And then upon coming into being humans began to realize the universe is knowable and can be explained with a great deal of mathematics. Should we have expected that from forces that didn't care if we existed? Why?
Quote:the kind of God theists typically claim to exist really exists (all-powerful, all-knowing, perfectly good, worthy of worship), it should be obvious to almost everyone. Proof would not be needed at all, any more than for the claim that the sun shines.
We're in luck then, I'm a theist who believes the universe was intentionally caused for the purpose of creating intelligent beings such as humans and certainly possible, many more civilizations.
