I have heard apologists claim that the deity they imagine to be real, transcends logic. I think the irnoy of the claim, as well as the truth of it, is lost on them.

My arguments aren't fallacious because people can look one up and claim its so.
Quote:1. The fact the universe existsThe first 4 are, and not one of them represents objective evidence for any deity. The last one is a subjective belief you hold, and as has been explained, we don't know that any other kind of universe is possible, or if very different types of intelligent life might be possible if it were.
2. The fact life exists
3. The fact intelligent life exists.
4. The fact the universe has laws of physics, is knowable, uniform and to a large extent predictable, amenable to scientific research and the laws of logic deduction and induction and is also explicable in mathematical terms.
5. The fact that in order for intelligent humans to exist requires a myriad of exacting conditions including causing the ingredients for life to exist from scratch.
Those are objective facts.
Again you seem to think ignoring rational objections, and endless repetition achieves something, what or why that is, is not clear.
Quote:Why does the idea our existence was intentionally caused give you such heartburn?
It doesn't, why do you keep lying with fallacious straw men?
Quote: Its not because there is an overwhelming preponderance of evidence in favor of natural unintended causes.Every cause we understand is natural, and we only have evidence of natural causes, so that's a spectacularly stupid assertion.
Quote:In the market place of ideas only 5% subscribe to your belief.
Atheism is not a belief, and that's an argumentum ad populum fallacy, so much for your lie that your arguments are not relentlessly fallacious and irrational.
Quote:That's pretty piss poor for a belief you think is obviously supported by evidence.
Atheism is not a belief, and this is another straw man fallacy, tell us again your arguments are not fallacious and irrational, this is comedy gold man, you're embarrassing yourself, and what for?
Quote:As I recall you admitted no one knows how the universe came into existence.
Correct, I also stated I have no opinion about how the universe came to exist, but you lack that integrity, and want to pretend you know, when all you have is unevidenced superstition, and irrational arguments.
