I can completely understand this. When laws get in the way, it’s vital to get rid of judges who do what they’re supposed to do.

Almost 91 years ago, on April 24, 1934, Hitler established the People's Courts, requiring judges to swear an oath of loyalty to the Nazis. This move granted the Nazi party greater influence over sentencing, particularly for political opponents and those deemed criminals. The People's Courts effectively stripped judges of their independence, allowing the Nazis to control the legal system and persecute individuals deemed threats. 

It seems that Palpatine is moving a little slower than Hitler, but inexorably in the same direction.

That's not a fair comparison.

Palpatine didn't wear nappies/diapers.

And he was smart.

And had some sophistication.
