but lets assume it could be; then there would be a process or mechanism that we could engineer to create energy!
The conservation of energy applies to closed systems. It is unclear whether the universe as a whole is such a closed system.
The forces of nature are the strong force, the weak force, the electromagnetic force, and gravity. Physicists think that the electromagnetic and the weak force were once united in the electroweak force until the early universe cooled and they split through symmetry breaking. Stephen Hawking speculated that all of the forces may have similarly evolved in the first moments after the big bang. What we perceive as certain varieties of energy at lower temperatures were likely not eternally so.
Scientists consider their hypotheses as possibilities until they can be tested, if that ever happens. You, on the other hand, are jumping to all sorts of conclusions.
