It's a way for the unhappy, the prudes, the religious, the insecure, and the downright miserable to feel better about themselves by attempting to make everyone else as pathetic as they are. Misery loves company and that phrase (you need to dress/act your age) is fucking horse shit. You want to be old and douchey like everybody else - feel free, but I'm not going to join you and the rest of the "normals" on your misery train just because you haven't got the BALLS to freely express yourself in the myriad of ways that one can do so.
Life is short and I have every intention of going out in a blaze of glory with no concern for who thought what about the clothes on my back, what I sang in my song, how I cut my hair, the ink in my skin or if I acted fucking appropriately for a 60 year old. Let your freak flag fly and the rest of the world be damned for their tiny minds and lack of heart.
