Watching a lot of game footage and game reviews for Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I was worried that the Silent Hill games might look crappy on my XBOX Series S, but they actually look okay. The native render is about 720p and the console upscales it to 1440p, and then it would be displayed on a 65" 4K TV, so there's still a lot of guesswork involved, but Microsoft has a good refund policy if things totally suck. I was going to buy a Series X console, but Best Buy's inventory management system is glitched, and so that's on hold for now. I think even without upgrading to the Series X, it will be fine. And the Silent Hill games' combat is more to my liking than Resident Evil. I was considering trying the Resident Evil 4 Remake before diving into Silent Hill, but there's a ton of combat in the RE4 Remake, and combat is my weak spot.
