Playing Octopath Traveler 2, Silent Hill 2, and Fatal Frame: Maid of Black Water to see whether any of the games pose challenges that I likely would be unable to surmount. Octopath Traveler doesn't have a difficulty level, and Sea of Stars which I've been playing has a cheat switch that removes worries about progressive loss of hit points, which Octopath Traveler doesn't have. I've read that the difficulty can be adjusted by in-game choices, but I suck at videogames, so if not for that, the game might have been too hard for me. Silent Hill 2 combat mechanics pose some challenge, given my lack of fingers, but I can lean on a combat style that doesn't have that issue. The only real question mark is Fatal Frame, which uses a combat system similar to action RPGs like Call of Duty and The Division. It's a game that was ported from the Wii with its weird controller. I seem to be managing so far, though I've only gone through one combat. Everything else about the game is dreamy, so I'll likely keep it even if it presents a difficult challenge for me to play.
