It's not that it's boring. It's that it's so obvious to everyone here that the fact you feel the need to lecture us about it leads me to believe you just don't credit us with much in the way of brains. In a similar vein you consistently write "D. Trump", as if we're unable within this context to figure out you're talking about the American president.

I love Guernica. I've framed several prints of it and it invariably moves me when I ponder it. I don't see its theme as being the Spanish Civil War; I see that war as the context and setting for the painting's theme, which I think is the brutal and inhumane depths we humans may sink, to the point that even animals must suffer our moral failings and where enlightenment is out of reach. That's my two cents' worth.
