Elon Musk said that becoming a quadrillionaire is “not impossible,” but it would require factories on the Moon and Mars, and an economy based on mass and energy rather than dollars.
Musk made the comment after a post on X noted he would need another $998.9 trillion to become the world’s first quadrillionaire.
He linked the idea to a Kardashev II civilization, in which massive energy production could render today’s financial system irrelevant.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
