Along the same lines, Black Bears are attracted to dirty diapers...so much so that the NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation has made specific mention of them in their list of precautions to avoid creating a nuisance black bear problem.
A fun excerpt,
"Remember: Bears are attracted by smells...With the exception of ammonia, Lysol, camphor and other strong smells, everything smells like potential bear food. Remove the food attractant and you'll remove the bear."
This apparently includes juniors latest 10 sheeter....(as long as he didn't piss a lake in the damned thing)
They also mentioned that you might want to leave the radio on at night..and judging by the quality of radio recently, I completely understand where the bears are coming from.
