no?
How about the fact that he wants to gut civil liberties yet calls himself a "libertarian"?
Still not enough for you?
He joined the Republican party yet still insists he is an independent and a "libertarian".
Still not enough?
How about him saying he wants to get big government out of our privacy yet he sponsered the marriage protection act?

Quote:This guy seems like the most honest and trustworthy politician I have ever seen in my life!...and you seem like the most gullible voter I have ever met.
Quote:He has been consistent for 30 years and has a clean record, esp when compared with such fools as Gingrich.Except when he HASNT been consistent, like how he says he defends personal liberty yet opposes a womans control over her body and productive rights. Or how he says he wants to get the government out of our bedrooms and our marriages but he sponsered the marriage protection act.
This is exactly what I'm talking about! Lighten up on on the overly critical analysis! You are looking way too deep! You are so smart that you are overlooking the obvious. This 76 year old politician is not the ant-christ. Please understand that this man is legitamate. This is our children's future we are talking about. For me even as a selfish buddhist, this means my reincarnation into a NON-Orwelian state! LOL
I understand your position of defiance to an extent, but there is a place of agreement that I think is much more important to you and me and everyone in our great land of America. Dude, I was in the Air Force for 4 years, I have a degree in history and I am well read. Life IS precious, whether one believes in fucking God or not. I don't know what I can do as a small individual, but as a collective group, people make changes. We as atheists are individualists, like libertarians, but we need to coalesce and unite to bring about real improvement to bring us out of nihilistic thinking. It is always bigger than us, this is the true point of faith!
You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.
