Actually no. It doesnt work the same for unions. If this were to be instituted in the 50's, then yes, it would have been equal.
unions are 15% and less of the population. By now suggesting that allowing unlimited money to be spent in elections means that unions only can pull a 15% string, where corporations are granted the most power since they currently dominate the system.
It would be the same as saying "white people can put up whites only signs on their businesses, but to keep it fair blacks can put up blacks only signs" when whites make up 80% and blacks make up 10%
This isnt a fair system. It is made intentionally to unballance the system. Individual votes no longer count as corporations now have an unlimited choice on buying off BOTH political parties.
