*sniff* I thought we were getting along famously, despite some differences of opinion on the moderate religious.
Anyway, being secular humanist isn't really a tag like a religion, its really just a mode of thought that being ethical, and promoting the betterment of our peers, i.e. people, does not rely on a religious viewpoint.
Certainly its not about absolute morality, and focused on relative morality.
Its a viewpoint that the individual must not rely on dogma to decide upon their views, and a reliance on the scientific method to accept what is "true".
To me, most importantly its about encouraging education, creativity and free thinking with a focus on the betterment of humankind.
To be honest, I label myself as secular humanist merely because it invariably matches my opinions on things, but most importantly it doesn't dictate specific behaviour to anyone.. because we're individual, human, and deserve respect.
However, it also means that we are inspired to challenge ignorance, and the maltreatment of our fellow humans, and from that my anti-theism stems.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
