What's with all the new christian members?

It's not the fact that they are theist members which get on my tits. For me it has pretty much nothing to do with their theism. Rather there seems to be a huge influx of complete retards who intend on preaching and ignorance rather than actual constructive debate.

The fact that they tend to be Christian is of no real concern to me, they could be just as likely buddhists or rastafarians for all I care. It's not who they are which pisses me off it's how they act when they are here.

Saying this place is for both atheists and theists is all well and good, but let's not forget what the name of the fucking site is. It's not atheist and theist forums. It's atheist forums. Anyone who isn't an atheist should at least come here expecting to have their views refuted, and not get all pissy when this happens. If they don't come here expecting that then I don't see why we should be apologising for their naivety, and frankly if they get butt hurt over a few nasty words then they haven't been on the internet very long.

We also have to bear in mind that many atheists come here to get away from the bullshit and preaching that has been imposed on them for almost their lives. This is not my case, I reckon that I don't give a shit about that, but there are alot of people that do indeed suffer much at the hands of religionists. Atheists trying to get away from the preachy idiots and find them here might not join just because there are fundie fuckwits running around unchecked, so, by welcome every fundie in here, we might just make the place unwelcome to atheists.

I don't have any problem with having reasonable theists around, like we've been doing, but ravenous preachers that whine at every criticism they get, like many of the recent additions may turn the place into havoc.

And these are my 2 cents.
