You should go to church for awhile and see who the regular goers are, then go at Christmas and Easter and see how they respond to the occasions.
I went to church once. Then I spotted the lightning conductor nailed to the outside, not to mention all the fire extinguishers inside, and I reckoned that showed a definite lack of the very faith they were trying to sell to me so I left. This may or may not be a true record of events but then you seem to like that sort of thing.
