The push is in that direction without Santorums' help. Look at the wave of legislation aimed at restricting abortion and contraception happening right now.

Especially note the fucking thing they did in Georgia. If a baby dies within the womb, a woman isn't allowed to have an abortion. Her body must abort it naturally. This sounds very primitive (and dangerously unhealthy).
