Do you mean for a place to live? Probably the Portland Area where I live. It seems really popular. My brother has lived in LA and San Deigo and he fucking loves San Diego. Seattle seems pretty cool but the cost of living is really high. All three, Seattle, Portland, and San Diego have great Swing Dance scenes.
I'm sure that is important to you.
Simply put Washington is rainy and cold, Oregon is rainy and a little less cold, while California is hot and dry with temperate areas in San Francisco, San Diego, and the northern third is pretty temperate with lovely forests. I lived in the Redding area and it is very rural and beautiful.
