Hahahaha, The student was Einstein? If you're lying for Jesus, you might as well go BIG.
Is this like the "You just murdered Beethoven" lie?
Anyway, the point is, that all the examples are empirically measurable, light, heat, evolution can be used to predict results (i.e. prediction of DNA results between related species).
God defies measurement, and indeed definition and therein lies the difference. You do not have faith the professors brain exists, you have empirical and testable theories based on knowledge(precedent of observation and measurement).
Essentially, the argument is that God exists only in the places you cannot observe. God becomes unobservable, and in that, indistinguishable from non-existent.

Self-authenticating private evidence is useless, because it is indistinguishable from the illusion of it. ― Kel, Kelosophy Blog
If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic. ― Tim Minchin, Storm
