You'll never be happy in life if you're playing the role of a person you're not. I say, just let the truth out there and what happens, happens. I was in a similar situation when I was a teenager and I can remember every one in the "teen" group trying to "reason" with me and praying for me and all that. Eventually it just stopped and my mom stopped forcing me to attend church. Now I'm friends with most of these people on Facebook, and I talk shit about god all day on there lol. As others have stated, if they lose interest in being your friend simply because you don't believe in nonsense, they're not worth your time and were never truly a friend to begin with.
