As you have clearly stated the time scale is 100x100 light years for any "black Hole" to consume it's galaxy. What I am pointing out is that people have great difficulty in assimilating 50 year weather patterns let alone 100x100 time spans.
for you and me this is not an issue for others it is. They are collectively unable to make it to the next decade let alone further. Such is the limitations of the human mind.
