For atheists to have a problem with something that simply suggests an idea of God or religious concepts, represents something more than a healthy criticism.

It might represent being sick and tired of religion and religious language permeating every hour of the day... and having everyone else make assumptions about what you may or may not believe. I for one, am sick of having to keep my thoughts about religion to myself in "polite society". It's called oppression and it is not surprising that atheists (especially here in the U.S.) are fed up with it.
