Your logic is way off...

If I say...
"Don't touch that red cup"

and someone decides to tell people...
"touch that red cup"...did I tell him to do that?

Just because some people use the scripture justify their own lusts does not mean it is actually taught in the scripture.

If I say, "don't touch that red cup" and you tell people "touch that red cup because he (genkaus) said so" then you are lying and not justifying your action based on my statement.

The church, on the other hand, did justify it using the scripture. That means, the scripture did say "touch that red cup".

Where did the bible say "ban the bible and keep it in a language which the common man cannot understand"? The CC banned the bible and banned the translation of it from Latin to English (only educated/rich people could understand Latin) so the poor were SOL. Where does it tell us to burn people to instill fear? Where does it tell us to love power and favor in the world above loving our neighbors? Where does it tell us to suppress the truth? Where does it tell us to oppress the poor? I could go on...

But you're obviously convinced that the bible teaches us to do every bad deed you can imagine. So I'll end this discussion here, since there is no intellectual honesty coming from your part (more like willful ignorance).
