There's no nicer way to say this but...

RE: There's no nicer way to say this but...
Quote:To you. Not every society thousands of years ago accepted it but many did. Homosexuality is normal and you can't do a thing about it. You can't get rid of homosexuality. They'll always be an uproar if you try, and I'll defend it as well.
Which ones? Let me see...Greeks, Persians and Romans. All, whom later on outlawed it with the progress in society. Just as the age of marriage has risen, homosexuality was recognized as the sad abnormality it is a long, long time ago, friend.
Could I get rid of homosexuality? You can't. Unless there is a sudden scientific breakthrough that is able to eliminate genes that cause such birth defects to happen. Until that time, homosexuality needs to be treated as what it is.
Under the laws that protect civil liberties, homosexuals can of course commit whatever acts they deem appropriate unless they try to violate the common moral guidelines of society. Asking the privilage of marriage is to hamper with society itself. As none of you probably lay any real value on the importance of family, the real purpose of marriage, I don't expect any of you to oppose this lunacy.
Quote:Laws are there to protect people and instil a sense of order. What harm does homosexuality cause? How does it affect you? Thing is, you just don't like it. Which is why you want to put a stop to it. Which is completely wrong. I'm very glad to be in this society where homosexuality is widely accepted. I despise dictatorships.
Homosexuality does not affect me unless it presents itself in our daily lives. As I said, I don't have a problem with homosexuals, unless they try to go on with their abnormal behavior in public. Not that they can't help it, they can, and did until now.
Marriage is like "normalizing" this type of behavior. It means that the state and society approves of what they're doing. But it doesn't. Neither do I, friend.
There are a lot of things that I don't like. I don't like communism, for example. Do I advocate things like outlawing the communist party? No.
Do I advocate storming their meetings? No. I don't advocate anarchy of any kind.
But I do not advocate the public presence of homosexuality because it's a complete anti-thesis of what really drives society forward.
Quote:You're showing your prejudice Mehmet
I kinda get to like that word.
