we have only two verses tied to NT giving 1 cor 16:2 and 2Cor 9:7
Neither one specify an amount (2 cor tells us to give what our hearts tell us to give) nor do they tell us we Must give to the Chruch. The command in 1 Cor simply states: On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.

So if one wants to give to the Salvation Army in the Name of God it is the same as giving it to the Church.

I'm sorry, I thought you'd have realized it on your own. Believing in the bolded part is the delusion I'm talking about.
