Kirk will always be first in my heart because of how protective he is of his crew. Like, he is a papa bear.
If he were so protective he would not have let any new "red shirts" down on away missions.

I didn't like the orginal because the lack of continutiy. too many stand alone episodes. until the wrath of Kahn when they tied a couple epsiodes into the movie. Then i became a fan of the orginal!
Subsequently that is why i like Archer and warp 5 enterpise. It tries to tie up all of the loose ends that the orginal had.
