Come to Oz and you can; feral cats are a huge problem here. Of course some of 'em can get quite big. (the size of an American Bobcat) and will attack you.
A guy I knew used to trap cats which came into his yard. The then sedated them and put them in his freezer. He boasted about it to me;I called him a cruel cunt.
