You claim that "religious people are not stupid". There are other words, but stupid accurately describes the Pentecostal preachers that take up venomous snakes for the sake of Mark 16: 17-18. Herpetologists may handle venomous snakes, but take the proper precautions despite the assurance from the book of Mark.
Religious people believe what they believe because they were indoctrinated and coerced, you guys are really missing the message by blaming the victim, I don't the venom directed at someone who essentially committed Christian approved suicide.
The point I'm trying to make is that the religion that claims to be based on love kills. Most Christians I know will say things like "the Crusaders weren't real Christians" well I counter this as real world current death caused by Christian opposition to abortion.
