I've enjoyed something from every genre I've heard stuff from so far. I like melancholy jazz, jrock/metal and miscellaneous game music (Chrono Cross, I'm lookin' at choo!) most at the moment.
I used to be a big old rock, hard rock and metal fan (I still have the vestigial long hair to prove it too, although I mainly keep it now because it infuriates the fashion police). I still am a fan of those genres, but I guess I've had my fill for a while now. I did have an urge to listen to some of the acoustic stuff from Led Zeppelin a few days back though. Actually, I could probably pick any of their songs at random and have a good time(s, bad times!). I think it's silly when people restrict themselves to certain genres, seemingly on principle.
