Other relevant questions one might ask about Jesus:
What if Jesus was a llama?
What if Jesus was an alien?
What if Jesus was a rodeo clown?
What if Jesus was a Terminator?
What if Jesus was a submarine captain?
What if Jesus was a student driver instructor?
What if Jesus was leaping tall pyramids in a single bound?
etc.
I think we know enough to know it was exceedingly unlikely that the low class, almost certainly illiterate Jesus could have been worldly enough, intelligent enough to penetrate the soup of fractionated superstitionsrunning through the Jewish world at the time. He was almost certainly a Jew who in his mind wholly embraced Judism, and seeking answers from what seemed to him to have been the framework of Judism.
