My first boyfriend took me to see a movie as a first date. I didn't know him very well at the time. After the date, I still didn't know him very well. I decided then that movie dates as a first date are lame. Our second date was an all-day boat trip, which was really cool. Both our parents where there, too... so it was mostly really awkward. We weren't an item for very long, lol.
No clue why he was terrified. He was never able to answer that question. Just something about it scared him. It got worse once our whole table started singing along and playing along. But oh well.
As far as first date I have to agree. Movies are not a great idea unless the entire reason for the date is a hook-up, seeing as you will learn next to nothing at all about the person. I much prefer a nice dinner date. But all that is behind me now anyway, seeing as I'm engaged.
I just thought of something by the way. I hope I am not violating any rule of any kind by continuing to feed my own intro thread and making it continue to grow. If I am someone please let me know.

I have a certain distaste for the emoticons, and particularly despise the laughing/rolling dude when used in response to one's own statement, but.....
Holy fuck that was funny! "Nearly naked, body all ripped,....". Oh, fuck me. I'm still laughing but can no longer piss myself since I've emptied the tank.
