I won't argue the specifics of scripture with you. No doubt you know it better than I do, but as I categorically deny the very premise of the Bible, by extension I find the entire thing to be without value in such a debate. In the end, whether God is an asshole or not is a moot point because I don't believe such a being ever existed.
