Min's comment was about the Mabus/Markuze troll, whereas the context of Michael Palin's quoted line was Ben (the depicted prisoner) extolling crucifixion as the "best thing the Romans ever did for us!" and that "If we didn't have crucifixion this country would be in a right bloody mess I tell you!"
