OK, you want to switch the conversation to whether or not Christians think Jesus is God? Fine. It's a total red herring to the OP, especially since I've already explained why it's completely beside the point and the argument works just as well with "Yahweh", "Jehovah" or whatever name you call your god, but hey, I'm game.
So a Christianity that doesn't believe Jesus is God. Sounds like old school Ebionite Christianity. Didn't think they were still around. So how's that work exactly? Do you pray to Jesus to forgive your sins? Is he your path to salvation? Do you follow him as your lord? If "yes" to any of these questions, how does that square with commandment #1?
