Damn it really sounds fun. It would be mega awesome to play along with a couple of close buddies and to watch each other's backs. Like you say, sounds like it really does a good job of simulating that interaction if you were actually in a post-apocalyptic zombie land.
I like Fallout for that kind of gameplay in a way, but it's only single player, so it's not really the same sense of nervousness when you come across other life forms.
