Just think: there were times when people worshipped Mars as a god. Now we've got entire feckin' laboratories set up there. When I see that Martian skyline, those mountains, hills and valleys, those alien rocks, the whole landscape that has been unseen by human eyes throughout all the civilisations that have risen and fallen on Earth, I get chills at just how far we've come and how much there is still to discover.
