aliens? for real?
Who cares if they DO exist?!?! What damn bit of difference is it going to make if the government officially comes out and says, "Yep, they're real."
Nothing in your insignificant little life is going to change. You're not going to suddenly join the crew of the starship Enterprise. You're not going to be traveling to the moon. Aliens are not going to meet with you and tell you the secrets of the universe. Nothing is going to change. You're still going to have to get up on time for work and pay the bills.
I just don't understand people's infatuation with the existence of aliens. Even if they show up with hostile intentions, there is nothing that your knowledge of them would've helped you prepare for. Real or not ... who fucking cares, I have a life to live.
